And again I am SO MESSED UP on a really disturbing level about the Season 3 finale of Supernatural, that I find myself completely unable to do anything fanly for SPN for now. I know this is temporary and will clear up in...like oh probably a few days, but for today? No SPN. None. I am absolutely SWIMMING in De Nile. I'm doing the butterfly, man. So, the big Season Three retrospective that I had planned to do, but hadn't told anyone about is *ahem*, on hold. Maybe in a month. It'll get done. Eventually. I also forsee a lot of work getting done on Angels Fear to Tread and SPN Fangirl Commentaries this summer, as both of those things take me back to a happy-Season-One place.

But for today? It's all about Narnia y'all.

sophie_448 and I are going to see The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian tonight. Therefore, expect to see a review later (either tonight or tomorrow). But for now? For now I have to get out my thinky-thoughts on the film before I actually see it.

At least, not until like, three years later.

But I felt the need to put this out there, because Fandom is doing what Stacy has been doing.

She's like "Wait, WHAT?!!? THREE WEEKS left on Dean's deal, and Kripke gives us MOTWs? WHAT?!?!"

And I had a revelation. Waaaaait. Season 4? A certainty. So...Kripke knows that he can od the giant cliffhanger. Which means, the ACTUAL season finale? Is gonna be the first half of the two-part extravaganza.

Which means we'll have to wait THREE MONTHS for the rest.

DAMN YOU KRIPKE. DAMN YOU TO HEEEEEEEEELLLLL.

Ok, folks, occasionally shit just gets under my skin. Normally I am incredibly laid back, and I generally just let the shit that pisses me off just roll on by. But today, I had the worst customer EVER on the phone. And it spawned a page-and-half rant that I just HAVE to share.

First, let me tell you about this guy. Ok, no first, I have to tell you that the company I work for (a precious metals/jewelry supplier) uses 100% recycled metals in EVERYTHING we make. It's something that I am incredibly pleased about and I am SO SO proud to work for a company that works to ensure that we do not support destructive mining processes (more on that later) and the displacement of local populations to make room for mines (more on that too). We do so by buying jewelry scrap, old jewelry, etc and refining it back to 24k for the raw matrial for our products. SO PROUD, right? I love that. We brand it under the name "Harmony" precious metals, but you don't have to request the Harmony brand, because EVERYTHING we make is Harmony. Anyway, so this guy calls up, and he specifically requests NON-Harmony metal. He was basically like "I'll have 6 inches of 18 karat white round wire. Oh, and I don't want that Harmony brand."

*silence*

Me: *sheer shock* "I'm sorry?"

Apparently, this guy thinks that he shouldn't have to pay extra money to ensure that he's not contributing to the pollution of the planet and the displacement of native peoples.

Ok, first? You can't do that, I'm sorry, we do not sell mined metal. Second, our karma-boosting metal actually costs LESS than our competitors.

Anyway, this guy makes me want to pass out nodirtygold stickers outside my local jewelry stores. The whole conversation prompted me to write a Soapbox on the subject.

They're ALL named WILSON except for the drummer and Seth! HA!)The Brothers Wilson, (now with added Seth!) here in town, playing their asses off and me and sophie_448 screaming the words along! Anyway, Saturday's gonna ROCK.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY little Miss Gwenyth!

I'm off to a birthday party for a one-year-old. And I'm actually excited.

WEIRD.

Anyway, when I get back, the plan is to type up all of the various sheets of legal paper that I've got that add up to the NEWLY REVISED chapter one of Angels Fear to Tread. Then stick in the old exposition scene, hope it works ok and send it flying away to subtly_modded for a beta read. Plan is to have final revisions done and have it posted as a Happy Anti-Xmas Present for Sammy Winchester's Birthday: Also, Episode 6 of Tin Hats & Belfry Bats will also be presented lovingly for the celebration of the birth of Demon!Jesus. That's for sure, because it's recorded and DONE. Angels is a toss-up, lol.

But that's the plan! OK, off I go. Everybody send happy birfday wishes for my sweet little Gwennie!

Wrote a new song at work today, did a few drabbles last nightm and the plan is to do full edits on Still Water after work tomorrow. YAY!

What up yo!

The weekend was....euphoric. Orgasmic. Fantastic. Yes, it was even...AWESOME. It was awesomer than that.

For one thing, it was totally Sammy & Dean. Totally totally. I suddenly have so much fucking respect for Dean Winchester, just for all the driving he does, like daily. It was a leetle bit of hell...especially on the way home, when we hit Monsoon Season in Southern VA. But the motel was incredibly Sam & Dean, except that it was a chain, with corporate art and not a weird theme. It was like early Season One sketchy. They had (get this) signs in the parking lot that said "Have you locked your vehicle? Have you removed your valuables?" Also, we found a diner restaurant that made your arteries go 'clang' just by walking inside (Called the Texas Ranch Roadhouse and Saloon, which, HA!) and had the BEST sweet tea I've had in a long damn time.

But here's the thing: 'long about the time we crashed after the show (which was AWESOME, and I'll get to that.), it got a little weird. I was suddenly totally in Dean's headspace. We were sacking out for the night, and I was thinking about how it was good that I had the bed closest to the door, just in case, and turning off all the lights, checking on the car and shutting the curtains and bolting the door, and basically taking care of all the tiny things, despite the fact that sophie_448 is TOTALLY capable of doing those things. It was very very weird. I mean, I always knew that I was a Dean, but that was a new level: I swear if we had had rock salt I would have been lining the windowsill.

Anyway, the show was seriously amazing. And I love Reckless Kelly, I do, I'm totally a Reckless girl, and yes, I fangirlled David Abeyta like a mad thing, with the squealing and the huge grin when he shook my hand and also Willy Braun is FUCKING HOTASS, and I caught his guitar pick, and he HUGGED ME all sweaty and HOT, and Jay Nazz is the hottest drummer on the planet (and I'm really really not a drummer girl) but damn. The opening band? I CANNOT STOP LISTENING. They are amazing, and I kind of want to follow them around this summer like a creepy groupie. Sons of Bill. Check it out. Sons of Bill myspace

Every. Single. Supernatural fangirl needs to hear Far Cry, because it is so so so much about Season 3 Dean. Go to the myspace and listen. Keep an ear out for a "Come on and save my soul, Sammy" from James just before Sam's kickass guitar solo. No, I am NOT kidding. sophie_448 heard it first on the drive home, and we FLIPPED OUT. Deeeeeean! It's Dean's theme song!!
